The Chrysalis mattress collection is the newest addition to the Monarch Rest lineup and the most natural mattress the brand has ever built. Each model in the Chrysalis mattress collection combines organic New Zealand wool, processed at one of the oldest carding mills in the country with natural Talalay latex and a GOTS-certified organic cotton knit insulator. The wool regulates temperature and resists fire and dust mites naturally, with no chemical treatments. Craftsmen hand-assemble all three models in Sugarcreek, Ohio, and Monarch Rest backs each with its full 20-year warranty.

Chrysalis collection: organic from source to sleep

The Chrysalis mattress collection goes further than most natural mattresses by tracing its primary materials back to specific sources: Dorset and Columbia sheep from New Zealand farms that treat both their animals and land well, and latex harvested from rubber tree sap rather than manufactured synthetically. The organic certification on the wool insulator reflects sourcing choices made at every step of production. For sleepers who want to eliminate synthetic materials from their bedroom without giving up the comfort and support of a true innerspring core, the Chrysalis collection makes that possible.

Hand Assembled

The innerspring core is layered with multiple layers of insulation to keep the high density foam padding from wearing directly against the steel springs. Aligning the layers carefully and attaching the cover properly are key to building a neatly tailored mattress.

Quality Insulation

The insulation is hidden within the mattress. In the component illustration for each mattress, you can see that carefully selected components combine
to keep the foam padding from being pushed down into the innerspring. Insufficient insulation will result in damaged foam and body impressions. We have carefully chosen and tested our insulation to help all the layers work
together for optimal endurance and comfort.

Warranty

First 10 Years: We will replace or repair for free any mattress with workmanship defects or component failures, including impressions exceeding 1/2 inch. You pay nothing but transportation.
Next 10 Years: We will replace or repair for 50% off any mattress with workmanship defects or component failures. Impressions must exceed 1 inch.
