Outdoor Furniture

Our outdoor furniture is built from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), commonly called “poly”, an all-weather material made from recycled plastics. It comes in a variety of colors, with some colors that are molded to look like natural wood grain.

Poly furniture is UV-treated and colorfast, so it won’t fade the way painted wood can.  Some of the brighter colors can show some pigment loss over time. It’s built to stay outside year-round through rain, snow, and everything in between. You’re welcome to cover it in winter if you prefer a tidier look, but it isn’t required.

Poly furniture is popular for outdoor living spaces because it doesn’t splinter or rot the way wood can. It’s a very durable, low-maintenance material that many homeowners prefer for exactly that reason.

Poly lumber is dense; an average chair weighs 30–50 pounds. So our furniture holds its place even in high winds and harsh weather.

Yes, our poly furniture is produced right here in Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, about 20 minutes from our Ronks showroom.

You can choose from a wide range of poly lumber colors, and you can mix up to two colors on one piece — for example, one color for a chair’s seat and armrests and a second color for the legs and frame.

Trubuilt Outdoors warrants to the original purchaser that its polyethylene lawn furniture will be free of original defects in workmanship and materials for a period of twenty (20) years of residential use or five (5) years of commercial use starting on the date of purchase.

Most of our poly furniture arrives ready to use if you pick it up in-store or use our delivery service. If your order ships via freight, some assembly may be required.
